Frequently asked questions on the blog

Here are some frequently asked questions on Dragon Dictation with our response. We will keep you updated as the situation changes and have more information to share with you.


Is there an option to opt out contact names upload on the servers?
We hear your requests for an opt-out on contact name uploads and we're working on a version update to include this feature. The new version will be submitted to approval very soon.


When will Dragon Dictation be available for iPod Touch?
We are working on Dragon Dictation for iPod Touch; we will provide update on availability soon.

When will the app be available in other iTunes store, besides US?
Dragon Dictation is currently only available in the U.S. We are developing regional roll out plans, and will keep you posted.


Is Dragon Dictation supported on other platforms such a Windows Mobile, Android, Blackberry?
We are continuously evaluating other platforms. We will keep you updated once our software is available on new platforms.

Why does Dragon need to have regional roll out plans? Why not just one single worldwide release on a worldwide site? Why support all these artificial barriers?

Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search are now available in Canada (http://blog.dragonmobileapps.com/2010/01/dragon-dictation-and-dragon-search-now.html) and the apps are available for iPod touch 2G & 3G (http://blog.dragonmobileapps.com/2010/01/dragon-dictation-dragon-search-on-ipod.html)
